Released in 2004 and directed by Saran. Another remake movie was changed and the dialogue was written by Crazy Mohan. This movie has some of Mohan’s trademark dialogues such as ‘co-operation kelvi pattirukelle, athe pannunge’! He is a genius in making these kinda word-plays. Starring Kamal Hassan, Prabhu, Sneha, Prakash Raj, Karunas and many more.

Un Samayal Arayil

Directed and acted by Prakash Raj himself. This movie is about two foodies who fall in love but confusion and misunderstandings ensue. Starring Prakash Raj, Sneha, Urvasi, Thambi Ramaiah, Elango Kumaravel and more. Movie was made in 3 languages (Tamil, Telugu and Kannada). Movie was released in 2014.

Pudhupettai

This is probably one of the all time favourites for many. Released in 2006, starring Dhanusha, Sonia Agarwal, Sneha, Vijay Sethupathi. The story is about how a young boy turned into a gangster and stepped up as a politician.  

Pammal K. Sambandam

Another combo of Crazy Mohan & Kamal Hassan. However this movie was not that blockbuster but it did make some decent collections. Starring Kamal Hassan, Simran, Abbas, Sneha, Manivannan, Ramesh Khanna, Vaiyapuri and more. Directed by Moulee and screenplay by Moulee and Crazy Mohan. 

Haridas

Sivadas, a valiant officer, his child who has autism, due to his work. Later he feels guilty for his action hence he decides to make up for his mistakes and do something for his son. Brilliant performance by Kishore. Movie was directed by GNR Kumaravelan in 2013. Starring Kishore, Soori, Sneha, Yugi Sethu and more.

Goa

Story about three young men (Jai, Vaibhav Reddy, Premgi Amaren) who dream to have an effortless life. So, they run away to Goa by stealing Temple jewels. Later, they will meet the love of their life. Along with this trio, this movie stars Aravind Akash, Sampath Raj, Piaa Bajpai, Sneha, Melanie Marie and more. Aravind Akash and Sampath Raj acted as gay partners in this movie

Paarthale Paravasam

K Balachander’s movie in the early 00’s wasn’t appreciated by Tamil fans. One of the movies is Paarthale Paravasam. Starring Madhavan, Simran, Sneha, Raghava Lawrance and more. Movie released in 2001. 

Aanandham

This is one of the finest family movies full of dramas. Story about 4 brothers who grow together and get married and raise a family together. And the struggles they face because of wives. This movie was released in 2001, starring Mammoty, Murali, Abbas, Senna, Devayani, Rambha. This movie was directed by Lingusamy. 

Parthiban Kanavu

Directed by Kari Pazhaniappan in 2003. This love story is about Parthiban falling in love with the same one that his parents want him to marry. However later he finds out it was a different person who looks like his wife. Movie released in 2003. Starring Srikanth, Vivek, Sneha, Manivannan, Devadarshini and more.
