Not a big fan of this storyline. However this is the first part of this movie, must wait for the second part before making a take on this. Starring Arun Vijay and Prasanna which is directed by Karthick Naren.
Aaranya Kandam
It was not a box office collection but it collects lots of good critics. Singaperumal tries to beat his enemy Gajendran with a perfect plan, however a series of incidents happen after that.

Maari
Story about a local gangster who extorts money from the public. Falls for the heroine’s trick of confession of his crime which leads to other problems.
Bheema
Movie about a group of gangsters, who turns against the hero who was their own gang member after he decides to give up gangster life and lead a normal life.
Bigil
This is more like a sports movie, however it involves the father of the hero, who was a gangster, hence end up in this list. Starring Vijay, Nayanthara and Yogi Babu.
Amaran
Movie about the lead character (Amaran) who turns against thugs to help people. Along the way he lost his family because of the head of gangster Andava Perumal. This movie was released in 1992.
