Kovil

Directed by Hari, this movie was released in 2004. Starring Silambarasan, Sonia Agarwal, Vadivelu, Nassar, Charlie and more. Story about hero and heroine from rival villages who fall in love with each other and the issues they face due to that.

Manmadhan

Simbhu in dual roles as two brothers who will turn into criminals who kill women because he thinks they are morally corrupt. Movie released in 2004, directed by Simbhu himself and A J Murugan and acted by Jyothika, Sindhu Tolani, Santhanam. 

Thotti Jaya

Simbhu’s Thotti Jaya was another flop movie in his career. The story is not strong enough to satisfy his fans. However the songs directed by Yuvan Shankar Raja in this movie were hit.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa

Simbhu, who is an assistant director, falls in love with Trisha, who is a Christian girl from a traditional family. But after Karthik becomes busy during his movie shoot, things go wrong. Directed by Gautham Menon in 2010.

Vaanam

Directed by Krish in 2011, this movie stars Simbhu, Bharath, Anuksha Shetty, Santhanam, Prakash Raj and more. Story about The lives of five individuals living in different places converge at a point, resulting in the transformation of their persona and purpose. 

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

This huge cast movie was about a fight between three brothers to take over their father’s criminal empire. Released in 2018 and starring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, Aditi Rao and the list goes on. 

Podaa Podi

Debut film for director Vignesh Shivan. This movie was released in 2012 with the casting of Silambarasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samrath, Shobana, VTV Ganesh and more. Story about Simbhu and Varu happily married after falling madly in love with each other. However, problems arise in their lives when they have to make sacrifices to make their marriage work.

Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven

Starring Silambarasan, Prabhu, Ramya Krishnan, Catherine Tresa, Megha Akash and Yogi Babu. Story about a hero trying his best to reunite his family. This movie was directed by Sundar C in 2019.

Vaalu

Directed by Vijay Chandar, this movie was delayed for a few years for release but somehow made it to the big screen in 2015. Starring Silambarasan, Hansika Motwani, Santhanam, VTV Ganesh and more. 

Eeswaran

Just released in 2021, this movie is about a close-knit family that begins to come apart at the seams due to an astrologer’s predictions of an imminent tragedy. Starring Silambarasan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Swetha, Bharathiraja and Manoj Bharathiraja. Movie was directed by Suseenthiran.
