Movie about a special agent is assigned to protect the Indian prime minister who later gets assassinated. Following this, he is tasked with finding the man or group responsible for the assassination.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Petta
Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, acted by Rajinikanth, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Malavika Mohanan, Simran, Sasikumar, Trisha and more. Story about in a bid to save Anwar, his best friend’s son, hostel warden Kaali, stands up against the local goons. However, everything goes haywire when Kaali is forced to face his past. Movie was released in 2019.
Aftab Shivdasani – Bhaskar Oru Rascal
Bhaskar, a single parent, is labelled rascal because of his impolite behaviour. His son, Akash, decides to set him up with Anu, whose daughter is Akash’s classmate. This was a direct remake of Malayalam movie Bhaskar The Rascal. However it was a huge flop in Tamil for miscasting and poor making. Nayanthara acted in Malayalam version and Amala Paul acted in the Tamil version. Aravind Swamy to replace Mamooty’s role.
